This is my replica version of the necklace worn by Katherine Parr in the portrait "The Melton Constable or Hastings Portrait of Queen Katherine" after Master John. This listing is for the choker(smaller style) necklace only.
 
This portrait owned by the Lord Hastings and now at Seaton Delaval in Northumberland, is a seventeenth-century copy of a sixteenth-century original formerly in the Royal Collection but lost in the dispersals of 1651-52. The painting was originally held at the seat of the Hasting family in Norfolk, but was moved.
 
Though long thought to depict Lady Jane Grey, it has recently been relabeled by the National Trust as Katherine Parr.

I have used imitation pearls and golden Tudor ouches for the choker.The smaller piece is designed to sit closely to the neck as seen in the picture but can be worn more loosely with the extension chain.

There is a golden filigree centre piece with drop pearl and golden bead cap. The centre piece is adorned with three siam red glass crystals.

There are golden ouches with square red crystals along the length of the necklace.
