Mary I necklace - Mary Tudor portrait replica jewellery

This is my version of the necklace worn by Mary I (Mary Tudor) (1516–1558), Aged 41 by Hans Eworth (c.1520–after 1578) (after) National Trust, Charlecote Park.

Mary I, also known as Mary Tudor, and as "Bloody Mary" by her Protestant opponents, was Queen of England and Ireland from July 1553 and Queen of Spain from January 1556 until her death in 1558. She is best known for her vigorous attempt to reverse the English Reformation, which had begun during the reign of her father, Henry VIII. Mary was the only surviving child of Henry VIII by his first wife, Catherine of Aragon.

The necklace is handcrafted with a multilayered antique gold filigree cross with Tudor ouches and jet black glass crystals. There are double layered glass ivory pearls threaded with further ouches and an extension chain to the back
