This belt is a full long length Tudor/Elizabethan style girdle belt for historical reenactment. It is my replica of the belt worn by Mary, Queen of Scots (1542–1587) in the 17th Century portrait by unknown artist, Blairs Museum, Aberdeen (The Scottish Catholic Heritage Collections Trust).
The Mary Stuart painting depicts the queen as a young woman of around 21 years of age.

The belt is made with multi layer antique golden findings, with kundan pearls and Tudor ouches. The bottom of the belt has an ornate cross.

The belt is fully adjustable to fit with a sturdy extension chain to the back and waist.

The belt is photographed on a Tudor gown to show you the full effect. The purchase price is for the belt only.

The belt will come wrapped in our rose tissue paper and a pretty organza gift bag.
